Finally, Nana Ama McBrown has revealed the reason she hasn’t been in any Nollywood productions.
She claims that she is biased and will always pick Ghana above any other nation since it has anything to do with Ghana and Nigeria.
She went on to say that’s why she doesn’t really associate with anything Nigerian.
Speaking during her Onua performance, Nana Ama McBrown said that she is betraying Ghanaian musicians with whom she has a solid relationship and that she is abandoning them to jam to Nigerian songs.
“If you study me, you would know that I hardly jam to Nigerian songs on social media. I feel like I would have sinned against Ghanaian artists,” the multiple-award-winning actress explained.
“The last time I watched Big Brother Naija, the housemates were having a party while I was eating.
I was present when Sarkodie’s song was played by a DJ during the concert. The DJ stopped playing the song in less than a minute after I made the decision to get up and dance to it.
I constantly argue with my Nigerian colleagues inadvertently. I don’t act in any Nigerian films because of this. She remarked, “I don’t feel them like that.”
