What are the Admission Requirements for KNUST Programmes?

To be eligible for admission to the University of Science and Technology, you must meet the following admission requirements:

  • An applicant for admission to a degree programme in KNUST must have credits (A1 – C6 in WASSCE and A – D in SSSCE) in three compulsory core subjects. These include English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science.
  • You must also obtain credits in three elective subjects or its equivalent relevant to your chosen programme.
  • Applicants must have a total aggregate of 24 or better
  • D7, E8 and F9 are not accepted for admission into the university

Is C6 Accepted In KNUST?

Yes, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology accept C6 as their last cut off grade for admission. It is worth noting that candidate you get grade A1-C6 qualify for admission at KNUST.
