How to Register Your Courses in UCC | portal.ucc.edu.gh

How to Access Your UCC Student Portal

Before you can access the UCC student portal, you must first create an account. The interesting part is that fresh student, upon payment of fees, will have their registration number and pin sent to them electronically after which they can proceed to create student portal account.

If you already have an account, you can follow the instructions provided below to access your UCC student portal:

  1. Visit the UCC student portal via https://portal.ucc.edu.gh/reset/login.php
  2. Enter your registration number and password
  3. Click on Login to access the portal

Incase you have challenges in accessing your UCC student portal or have forgotten the password to your account, kindly follow the steps provided below:

  1. Visit the UCC student portal via https://portal.ucc.edu.gh/reset/login.php
  2. Click on Forgot Password
  3. Enter your registration number and telephone number
  4. You will receive a reset code on your phone
  5. Enter your reset code received, for verification
  6. Once your reset code is verified, your password will be reset and you can log in

UCC Course Registration Procedures

  1. Before you can be allowed to register your courses, you should have paid your fees in full and obtained information from your department with respect to the courses available for the particular semester
  2. Continuing student can proceed to register their courses online. However, freshmen, upon payment of fees, will receive their registration number and password they can use to access the student portal.
  3. Student MUST print a copy of their registered courses and be kept as an evidence of registration

Kindly be advised that student who fail to register their courses by the end of the registration period will not receive any grades even if they attend lectures and take examinations.

What is the Minimum and Maximum Workload for Course Registration?

The minimum workload for a full-time (regular) student is 15 credits for a semester. The maximum allowable is 18 credits. For students on distance learning programmes, the minimum workload for three-year programmes is 10 credits while the maximum is 15. For two-year programmes (distance learning), the minimum workload is 15 credits and the maximum is 18 credits.

How to Register Courses in UCC

  1. Visit the UCC student portal via https://portal.ucc.edu.gh/reset/login.php
  2. Enter your registration number and password
  3. Click on Login to access the portal
  4. On the left side of your screen, click on REGISTRATION
  5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on START REGISTRATION
  6. Select your Major courses and click on submit. Your core courses will appear automatically.
  7. You can proceed to select your optional courses
  8. Print a copy of your registered courses
