1. Log in your UCC student portal using your index number and password
2. Click on Service Information on the left side of your screen
3. Look for institutional email activation
4. Tap on Click Here for More Details
5. Tap on Click here to start activation
6. Enter your institutional email address in full and click Next
7. Enter the default password and click next
8. Read and accept the Terms and Conditions
9. Create a new password and confirm same in the input boxes provided
10. Click on Change Password
11. Proceed to verify your account using your new password

Student of the University of Cape Coast should protect their UCC institutional email account against potential hacking risks. Any student who wish to protect their UCC institutional email account should follow the following steps below:

1. Click on the Update button
2. Enter your mobile number and click on Next
3. Click on the OK link to receive a text message from Google
4. Enter the verification text (G-######) sent to your phone
5. You can choose to skip the recovery email or set it up
6. Click Done to finish with the activation

Note: Do not use the credentials to login into the e-learning platform after activating the institutional email.
